The initial line features five metal and five plastic designs. In total this year, 24 ophthalmic and 12 sun styles will be released. "We are excited about the opportunity to work with bebe in designing eyewear that captures the bebe look and personality of the brand," says Bernie Weiss, CEO of Signature. The bebe clothing line is renowned for its sensual and thought-provoking styles and is a favorite among celebrities and the fashion-forward conscious. According to Signature, in addition to showcasing styles that are hip and flirtatious, the collection boasts innovative color blends, and the hues, along with the fit and shape, meet the needs of bebe's culturally diverse customer.
Ophthalmics wholesale between $39.95 to $54.95, while sunwear styles wholesale from $34.95 to $45.95. Those designs in plastic feature opaque and sheer colored angular shapes. Meanwhile, the collection's metal styles embody sophistication, according to Signature. The sunwear styles have scratch resistant lenses with UV protection and come in a variety of colors -- from intriguing dark shades to cosmopolitan translucents. Merchandising materials include brushed metal and sand-blasted acrylic displays with curvy designs. Call Signature Eyewear at 800-765-EYES for more information. They've Got Bette Davis Eyes Shane Michael returns to Tinseltown Where celebrities tread, everyday man is sure to follow. At least that's what Shane Michael is hoping. Hot on the heels of its successful Humphrey Bogart, Lauren Bacall, and George Burns lines of glasses, Shane Michael is premiering another series honoring a star from Hollywood's Golden Age -- the Bette Davis Eyes collection.
Inspired by the legendary scene stealer, the line is comprised of four ophthalmic styles -- two metals and two zyls. The shapes are primarily rectangular and oval, according to Shane Michael. Color options for the metals include blush, ice matte, and gold. Shades for the zyls include chocolate, champagne, and black. A 10-piece merchandising kit is available to dispensers. Call Shane Michael at 800-227-4400 for more information. Flavor of the Day Eyes Cream Shades aims to please youngsters Sweet indulgences that are guilt-free? Yes, but you won't find them at your local grocer. Instead, these delectable treats for kids three years of age and up come from Eyes Cream Shades. That's right -- three funky and fun sunwear styles available in such yummy shades as cherry pop, pistachio, orange sherbet, and bubble gum.
In addition to blocking out UVA and UVB rays, the UV400 lenses are polycarbonate and, therefore, impact resistant. Each pair of sunglasses comes with a lifetime guarantee and a customized case designed to hook onto the child's belt buckle. Also, Eyes Cream Shades is introducing a micro-fiber cloth called a "napkin" for the kids to clean their shades with and a "hot fudge" ice cream cord so they can wear the glasses around their necks. The wholesale price per pair with a case is $5. Dispensers will receive a complimentary lucite countertop display with an order of 24 pairs. The P-O-P material is designed to display the glasses in their hanging cases. In the future, posters will also be available. Call Eyes Cream Shades at 877-EYES-CREAM for more information.
