Artisan Approach The latest release from the Evolution Collection, The Artisan series for Ogi Eyewear, takes the essence of handcrafted details and reintroduces them in inventive new ways. Each new model features elements that demand a second look and stand apart from the rest of the Evolution line. “The Evolution Collection embraces Ogi's heritage but adds an element of distinction, appealing to a larger audience by introducing a wider range of sizes for added versatility. Additions to the Evolution Collection closely mirror the latest trends in eyewear while keeping a firm grasp on functionality. Hallmarks of this evolving category can be seen in the use of premium materials and inventive details,” notes Phil Windyk, director of marketing for Ogi. The 3500 is a new men's style inspired by the retro shapes and industrial details of a classic American foundry. It features hairline curves contrasted with hard edges. A modern interpretation of a diamond plate adds an element of rugged charm to this model that is available in four distressed color combinations. The matte front found on the 5500 features a keyhole bridge and a split endpiece that is connected by an elongated hex nut. The tapered temples on the 5500 are finished with vibrant backside color. 4 Sun and Fun
Sabal from Koali Sun by Morel is simple with sculpted and beveled features that emphasize the interchange between material and light. The grouping includes two imposing front shapes typical of the 1970s and one wraparound shape, each in three colors. This all-acetate grouping takes its inspiration from the palm tree of the same name. The long leaf and central rib of the palm is mimicked throughout the frames' design, starting on the front and running along the temple to the endtip.
The complete Sabal collection adds three ophthalmic styles in a pallet of four colors per style.
All models are fitted with category 3 graduated lenses (CR39 or polycarbonate) as well as an inside AR coating.

Best Image/Plume Paris' Happy Anniversary
Plume Paris Eyewear, inspired by European culture, celebrates the 10th Anniversary of its popular frame: Plume Paris ‘Loop.’
Withstanding the test of time and fashion, the ‘Loop’ frame has become one of the bestselling frames for the brand. Characterized by its simplicity, elegance, and uniqueness, the ‘Loop’ stands apart from frames that come and go. This spring-hinged, stainless steel frame can be found in gun/black, brown/green, and maroon/navy.
Mark Dolabany, CEO of Best Image Optical, observes, “Having the ‘Loop’ frame in our eyewear collection for the past 10 years is a testament to the type of frame we design and its life cycle. Its track record shows it can be a bestseller at any optical store now and for a very long time.”
To celebrate Loop's 10th anniversary, Best Image Optical has added two new colors of the frame: matte brown/chocolate and matte violet/amethyst in stainless steel.
