They’re an eyecare pair. Fraternal twins Sammy Hashemian, O.D., and Honey Hashemian, O.D., have been practicing for six years, but started working together at Island Optometry (in LensCrafters) in Newport Beach, CA, in October 2016.

3. Give patients simple facts! My TOP THREE: sunglasses, dark green leafy vegetables, and no smoking. —HH
4. HAPPY PEOPLE are more productive. Create a positive work environment with your staff.—SH
5. Educate staff BEYOND GLASSES + CONTACTS. Explain the importance of annual eye exams for health purposes. —HH
6. Find something healthy to DE-STRESS after long days. I use journaling + exercise.—SH
7. Educate patients about blue-blocking technology, DRY EYE symptoms, and taking frequent breaks.—HH
