Manhattan-based eyewear company Tura is partnering with celebrated fashion designer Victor Glemaud, a champion of sophisticated style for women of color, to unveil the Glemaud x Tura eyewear collection, which offers a tailored fit for all ethnicities and sizes.

“Victor was the perfect partner in creating a collection bringing joy and confidence in wearing eyewear that fits and flatters at every angle,” says Jennifer Coppel, Tura’s VP of brand management. “His modern aesthetic pairs so beautifully with Tura’s luxurious combination constructions and channel-set crystals paired with custom colors to complement deep and rich skin tones.”

Tura shares that sunglasses and ophthalmic styles in the collection feature a wide nasal flare to prevent sinus pressure and gaping at the bridge, deep nose pads to stop frame slippage so that the eyes remain centered within the lenses, midset temples, and tailored vertical measurements.
