ZEISS VISION CARE
PhotoFusion X
Zeiss Vision Care has unveiled its latest generation of photochromic lenses, PhotoFusion X.
Zeiss’ new PhotoFusion X lenses offer wearers UV and blue light protection both indoors and outdoors via the Zeiss BlueGuard substrate, as well as photochromic convenience.
According to Zeiss, PhotoFusion X lenses employ the use of a newly patented photokinetic dye compound, which speeds up activation when outdoors and the fade-back to clear when indoors. The lenses contain billions of compounds that change shape and orientation depending on stimulation from lighting and environmental conditions. Zeiss reports that this unique technology results in lenses that darken and clear faster than the previous generations of PhotoFusion. zeiss.com
