Ukti Vora, an Indian optometrist based in the United States, wants to cultivate connection—the impetus for her launching the “Nerdy Optometrist” podcast.
“It was launched [in] September 2019 with an idea to share undocumented eyecare stories from around the world,” says Vora. “With no knowledge or experience of podcasting, I was able to publish 70 episodes and adapt to the needs of the audience.”
With engaging and relevant topics like social media, mental health, virtual reality, and more, the “Nerdy Optometrist” podcast has a thriving global community.
Here, the ECP, podcaster, and marketing manager for software solutions at Topcon Healthcare shares her advice, inspirations, and more.
