Ayla Jade, O.D., entered the eyecare space in high school in 2006 as a recall and diagnostic technician. Flash-forward to today, and she says she’s living her dream. 

“Optometry has always been my passion,” says Dr. Jade, who purchased Multnomah Vision Clinic in Portland, OR, in 2022. “My clinic is all about having fun, gamifying work, and bringing one’s authentic self wherever they go, hence the colorful clothes and hair. We celebrate our uniqueness and provide an inclusive space for all.”
