Nov. 12, 2020 — The Vision Council has launched its 2020 Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Survey, designed to benchmark the vision care leadership landscape to help organizations within the industry identify available opportunities to promote diversity, cultivate talent, and improve performance.
The survey was developed in partnership with Nonprofit HR, a full-service human resources firm focused exclusively on the nonprofit sector with expertise in DEI consulting.
Available here until Monday, Nov. 23, the confidential survey is open to all members of the vision care products and services industry.
“Members are strongly encouraged to share the survey within their organizations, as participation across all segments of the industry is crucial to gathering the breadth of data required to identify milestones, provide tangible, actionable pathways for our members to access, and, ultimately, effect long-lasting industry change,” shares TVC.
To help promote survey participation, TVC has provided downloadable materials such as sample social media posts, shareable email text, Instagram graphics, and more.
An analysis of the survey will be presented by TVC’s Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Task Force following their review of the survey results at the organization’s 2021 Virtual Executive Summit, taking place January 26–28, 2021.
This survey marks the second diversity survey developed by TVC; the first was conducted in 2019 with results shared at the 2020 Executive Summit.
