June 23, 2021 — EyeQue has announced a partnership with EyecareLive to offer virtual eye health appointments with eyecare professionals. The company has announced that consumers can access EyecareLive’s network of more than 4,000 eye doctors via EyeQue.com.
“We are excited to partner with EyeQue to extend virtual care to consumers who are in need of an eye health consultation,” says Raj Ramchandani, CEO of EyecareLive. “While EyeQue’s smartphone screening devices empower consumers to track their vision between doctors’ visits, this new partnership gives consumers access to video visits with an EyecareLive eye doctor to address immediate eye health concerns, and to gain valuable eyecare information.”
According to EyecareLive, the company’s eye doctors are able to diagnose, evaluate, and provide treatment plans for eye conditions including dry eye, pink eye, eye allergies, and more.
EyeQue has shared that during the Covid-19 pandemic, the company saw a surge in demand for its vision offerings. It also shares that its services do not replace a comprehensive eye exam with an optometrist, and recommends that individuals visit an ECP regularly.
