Oct. 21, 2021 — Optometric alliance IDOC has shared that registration is now up for its annual national conference, The Connection, scheduled for Feb. 24-26, 2022, in Orlando, FL.
“We are thrilled to be returning to a live, in-person event in 2022,” says Dave Brown, CEO of IDOC. “It’s the perfect opportunity to share what has become a new focus for IDOC: turnkey services that will help independent O.D.s spend less time on management tasks and more time on patient care and personal pursuits.”
The Connection 2022 will offer employee/role-based tracks focused on the goals and challenges of independent optometric practices today. The event will also feature more than 40 sponsors who will offer exclusive on-site discounts on products, services, and equipment.
“Inspiring Innovation,” the theme of the upcoming conference, underscores the organization’s goal of providing insights into the critical role of business innovation in private practice success, shares IDOC.
“We’re confident that our new services will bring immediate value to our members,” says Oliver Spandow, CFO of IDOC. “As an alliance, we’re committed to providing the tools, guidance, and advice that drive success. The Connection 2022 is the ideal opportunity for our members to see what is available and incorporate our new offerings into their business plans.”
The event is open to all IDOC members, as well as all eyecare professionals—as multiple tracks will focus on individual roles.
IDOC shares that registered attendees are also invited to participate in a Topgolf event on the evening of Friday, Feb. 25—a chance to relax and network in an informal setting.
