Oct. 20, 2023 — LensCrafters has launched its first virtual experience, LensCrafters Eye Odyssey, on Roblox, an immersive communication platform that hosts millions of users worldwide.
As part of EssilorLuxottica’s mission to raise awareness about the importance of vision health, LensCrafters Eye Odyssey will offer an entertaining, educational, and immersive experience with the LensCrafters’ Palo Alto flagship store serving as the backdrop. Participants will help Blinky, a friendly eye-bulb character, overcome issues due to prolonged exposure to screens and learn how to maintain healthy vision. The program will also remind users to prevent digital eye strain by utilizing the 20/20/20 rule, which is to look 20 feet away every 20 minutes for 20 seconds.
