Sept. 7, 2023 — Safilo has released the latest update regarding the evaluation of a possible transfer of its plant in Longarone, Italy.
 
Following the previous announcement, Safilo has announced the signing of the deeds, thereby transferring two business units related to the Longarone plant to Thélios SpA and Innovatek Srl.
 
Safilo Group CEO Angelo Trocchia says the agreement will guarantee the full employment of all workers in the Longarone plant.
 
“Despite the complex situation, thanks to the effective support of the Regione Veneto and the trade unions, we have been able, together with Thélios and Innovatek, to reach the conditions for the best possible outcome,” says Trocchia.
