Altair Eyewear has revamped Genesis, a collection in its portfolio of proprietary brands, in celebration of 20 years of success in the U.S. eyewear market.
“As a successful, core brand in the Altair portfolio for 20 years, we are excited to introduce the next chapter for Genesis,” says Thomas Burkhardt, senior VP of global Brands, marketing, and design at Marchon Eyewear, Inc. “By refreshing the brand to offer feel-good eyewear at a comfortable price, we believe that it will enhance the brand’s perception, while complementing the existing brands in the Altair portfolio.”
The latest Genesis release features optical frames for men and women in search of sophisticated styling and signature colorways. Design highlights include mixed materials, crystal details, and chic finishes. The assortment features standard, extended, and petite sizing. And, for the first time in the Altair portfolio, Genesis introduces a 61 eye size.
Above, the G5057 (left) offers a modified rectangular silhouette in watercolor-inspired hues. The G4052, also a classic shape, is offered in three colors with standard or extended-fit sizing.
Also new to the assortment is the G4053, featuring a sleek metal frame front and acetate temple tips plus adjustable nose pads.
The G5058 is a posh semi-rimless frame with spring hinges, adjustable nose pads, and crystal stone accents.
