MARCHON ADDS NIKE WOMEN
Marchon has expanded its Nike frame collection to include sports eyewear styled and sized specifically for women. The profile provides better fit with less light leakage for smaller face shapes. The new offering presents three models: the Interchange Treviso, the V3, and the Furi.R. Features include the Nike Max Lens Technology, polycarbonate lenses, and 100 percent UVA and UVB protection. All frames also have the Nike ventilated nose bridge, which improves airflow for reduced slippage and fogging. Each frame, however, has a specialty. The Treviso features the Nike Interchange lens system with lens options for all light conditions. The V3 boasts the Nike Golf tint lens, sharpening the contrast between the golf ball and the grass or sky. The Furi.R has an 8-base design for maximized peripheral coverage. Contact 800-645-1300.

Trend Driven
BBH EYEWEAR UNVEILS SCAPPA
This new, trendy line is targeted to a modern woman who is both daring and sophisticated. She also wants high quality and top design but does not want to pay designer prices for a brand--a philosophy that is basically the definition of the Italian word "Scappa," according to BBH Eyewear. The line, which consists of 12 styles, is very feminine in design--and is in harmony with the latest style trends of the season. Shapes include large squares (one has a double bridge), small rectangles in plastic/metal combinations, and a butterfly shape in metal. The collection features avant-garde colors as well--the palette ranges from violet, lavender, and red, to transparent brown, antique silver, and matte gold. Special details include silicone nosepads on all metal frames and a unique double P logo. Point-of-purchase materials, such as countercards and a three-piece display, are available. Wholesale prices for the Scappa line range from $99 to $110. For more information, contact BBH Eyewear, Inc. at 800-638-6639.
