Go Small, Think Big
The new PocketViewer from Pulse Data HumanWare represents a new concept in portable video magnification. It weighs only 10 ounces and displays images of 7X on a 4" flat panel display. The PocketViewer utilizes a miniature video camera to transfer and enlarge text and images. Images can appear in high contrast black on white, or with the simple flip of a switch, the viewing mode can be reversed to white on black. The magnification can be reduced or increased by simply tilting or lifting the PocketViewer. The PocketViewer measures 5.6" x 3.4" x 1.4", weighs 10 ounces, and it comes complete with battery charger and carrying case. It is priced at $895. Ocutech's VES^® AutoFocus Telescope is a self-focusing bioptic telescope that removes the greatest challenge in using telescopic devices--focusing.
