UNIQUE TEXTURES. Designers have brought a host of natural materials to the design table this fall. Leathers, tortoise, horn, and even raffia have been incorporated into this season's eyewear. Some frames are enveloped completely by the materials, while others only show a hint of these materials on the temples.

CALL OF THE WILD. Animal prints have been extended from just an accent to a print that encompasses the whole frame. Leopard spots or zebra and tiger stripes create an exotic accessory to compliment fall fashions. Watch for styles gleaned from other exotic creatures, such as fish and snakes.

SERPENTS AND SNAKESKIN. Speaking of snakes, a sweeping trend this year is in accessories with a gothic feel--skull and bones jewelry, t-shirts based on cloak and dagger tattoos, and glasses that look just as edgy and dangerous. When you make your fall frame selection, don't be afraid to add a rebellious touch to your collection.
