At International Vision Expo West, Optical Dynamics Corporation introduced a new AR system to the independent marketplace that the company calls "the world's first and only lens that is born anti-reflective." Designed to work in conjunction with ODC's Q-2100R lens casting system, the nanoCLEAR AR uses nano particle technology to
create a multilayer AR stack that's applied in-mold prior to making the lens. Because the AR stack is applied in-mold, a bonding process occurs during curing between all layers of the AR stack, the hard coat, and the base lens material. The AR process adds about 30 minutes to the
