Tura introduces Ted Baker
Ted Baker is one of the UK's leading designer clothing companies and is renowned for its innovative styling and attention to detail. The brand has a unique personality, which has been built with humorous marketing and the promotion of a quirky way of life. For contemporary women and men ages 18 to 45, the brand's ophthalmic collection, brought to the market by Tura, includes 18 styles consisting of 13 metals and five plastics. The frames feature brightly colored multi-layered plastic temples and embedded logo plaque treatments. Beta titanium and titanium frames are in the grouping, along with semi-rimless and rimless mounts. Wholesale prices range from $44.95 to $64.95. Each frame comes with a cleaning cloth and hard case. Viva launches Etro
The Etro brand was founded in 1968 and produced textiles of rare quality in highly original patterns and imaginative colors. The company first operated as a fabric supplier, but later expanded into producing its own line of ready-to-wear and accessories. The new Etro line from Viva Moda reflects the heritage of the Etro brand through the incorporation of textile patterns, such as paisley and lace, into the frames. The collection also uses Etro's unique palette of colors for the custom handmade plastic models. The unisex line is priced between $76.95 and $115. Both sun and ophthalmic styles are available and are targeted to the fashion-forward and young-at-heart. Assorted countercards, posters, window merchandising kits, and catalogs will be available to dispensers. Good Style, Good Attitude
ClearVision presents BCBG
The name BCBG comes from the French phrase "bon chic, bon genre," meaning good style, good attitude. Born in 1989, the BCBG line from Max Azria combines European sophistication and American spirit. The designer has lent his name to several accessory lines, including watches, ties, and handbags. The BCBG Max Azria collection from ClearVision is targeted to men and women ages 25 to 50. Featuring 35 ophthalmic models and 22 sun styles, the new line offers a variety of shapes in both metals and plastics. Unique colors for women's styles include azalea, pumpkin, and turquoise; the men's palette is just as bold with frames in seagrass, wine, and olive. Wholesale prices range from $52.99 to $76.99.
