Charmant USA rolls out CFX collection

Charmant USA joins the memory metal market with the CFX, Charmant Flex Collection. CFX is a metal alloy of 49 percent titanium and 51 percent nickel. Used in the bridge, top bar, and temples, CFX allows the frames to keep their original shape. Other features include increased durability, corrosion resistance, three times more elasticity than beta titanium, lighter weight, and flexibility. The collection features nine modern, sporty, and classic models. Four styles feature a monoblock hinge and cushion end tips for a comfortable, secure fit. CFX is available in various colors and three shapes (round, square, and rectangle). Priced at $59.99 and $69.99, CFX is also available in four Aristar frames at $49.99. Europtiks presents Polaroid Sunwear collection

To meet the growing demand for polarized eyewear, Europtiks has teamed up with Polaroid, the inventor of polarized sunglass lens technology, to present the Polaroid Sunwear collection. Focusing on fashion-forward basics and function, this line features 60 women's, men's, and unisex styles in metal and plastic, all with Polaroid polarized sunlenses. Styling ranges from contemporary and trendy to elegant classics. Women's styles include oversized "Jackie O" frames with striped temples and large shapes. Men's frames include aviators, drill mounts, and wraps. Wholesale prices range from $34.50 to $69. L'AMY launches a frame for the modern woman

L'AMY targets the active, contemporary woman with the Captive line, a new addition to the Metro Collection and part of the revamped L'AMY Lunettes. The frames have stainless steel temples with long, ultra-thin plastic temple tips, and comfortable, discreet nose pads. They are light, thin, and available in bold and trendy colorations such as copper, purple blue, and red. Captive 10 in metal is available in three different styles, while Captive 20 in acetate is offered in two. Frame temples start directly from the back of the rim and feature upper and lower hinges. Captive frames are priced at $74.95. Marketing materials come in two packages. The 12-piece package includes a Captive showcard, a Captive/Origa double-sided hanging poster, and a single/double frame display set.
