Transitions' new Eyeglass Guide 2.0 website helps consumers create their perfect pair of eyeglasses, much like many car websites let visitors build their own vehicle. The site uses consumers' answers to lifestyle questions to build their eyeglasses, with imagery updating as they go. The Eyeglass Guide ends with a recommendation for the consumer to take to their ECP that will encourage dialogue and elevate eyeglasses beyond correction. Satisfaction Guaranteed
VSP Vision Care and Transitions have teamed up to provide guaranteed satisfaction on Transitions VI lenses to VSP members. Through the program, VSP doctors can offer their patients who are VSP members up to six months to try their new lenses. If the patients aren't satisfied, VSP will replace their Transitions lenses with clear ones for free. Give and Get
Transitions is running a "Get Healthy Sight. Give Healthy Sight" scratch-and-win promotion for ECPs and their patients. The program offers both a chance to win $10,000 while giving back to charities supported through the Transitions Healthy Sight for Life Fund. Program brochures, postcards, and a P.O.P display are available. ECPs also can accumulate points for the Transitions ECP rewards program each time their ECP identifier is included with a Certificate of Authenticity registration. Resources to help you educate and work with your Hispanic patient base are available from Transitions. A Bilingual Pocket Card translates common optical terms from English to Spanish; Healthy InSights Informativo, an electronic newsletter, gives ideas on addressing the needs of the Hispanic community; Spanish-language point-of-sale materials, including an Eyeglass Guide poster, pad, and tentcard, a dispensing mat, and Healthy Sight posters, are available; and Spanish-language consumer education materials, such as an Eyeglass Guide booklet, Transitions Healthy Sight for Life Fund brochure, and Patient Brochure with UV Film are also available. Transitions Optical has new resources available to help ECPs educate patients about the performance and healthy sight benefits of Transitions lenses. The point-of-sale materials—all updated with new lifestyle imagery—include a consumer brochure, posters, countercards, and a window cling about healthy sight to display in-office.
