LAFONT DEBUTS REEDITION COLLECTION
Lafont has reached into its archives to create its new Lafont Reedition collection. With more than 10 new styles in acetate, titanium, and metal, the collection was inspired by the history of the brand but offers contemporary color choices and style updates. The grouping of retro frames is directly linked to Lafont's rich history, which began with the opening in 1923 of the first Lafont boutique by Louis Lafont on rue Vignon in Paris. In 1972, Laurence and Philippe Lafont created the brand "Lunettes Lafont" and re-invented retro shapes with exclusive contemporary colors. VIVA ROLLS OUT GUESS TWEEN COLLECTION Viva International Group and GUESS by Marciano launched the new GUESS Tween Collection consisting of 23 optical styles in a variety of materials, including handmade acetate, stainless steel, and memory metal, as well combination materials. Playful logo treatments, including the heart logo with rhinestones, double hearts logo, and the block logo, embellish select styles. Every model features spring hinges that provide added comfort and durability, and the collection's color scheme includes violet, salmon purple, pink teal, and satin navy. Flowery Flair NOUVEAU LAUNCHES FLEUR DE LIS LINE Nouveau Eyewear announces the launch of a new eyewear collection for the mature woman who values classic, feminine styling— Fleur de Lis Eyewear. "This collection was created to address the styling preferences of the mature woman who values style but doesn't want to pay designer prices," says Marj McGraw, co-president of Nouveau Eyewear.
