4 LILLY IN BLOOM
It's all about life, love, and Lilly at Kenmark this Fall. The Lilly Pulitzer eyewear collection is undergoing a market expansion and will be available nationwide this year.
Successfully launched in 2008 to select markets, Lilly Pulitzer Eyewear "received a warm reception from our customers, and its success convinced us that there is a need for colorful, feminine frames inspired by this iconic American heritage brand," says Don Howard, president and CEO of the Kenmark Group. "To answer this demand, we have decided to expand the collection's distribution to all of our markets across the United States."
To support this expansion, Kenmark is debuting 11 ladies' ophthalmic models: Abygale, Annie, Darcia, Franci, Greta, Harmon, Josephine, Rorey, Ruby, Sierra, and Winnie; four girls' ophthalmic models: Brie, Carolina, Hayley, and Kacie; and four sunwear styles: Cameron, Gwyneth, Mell, and Pepper. The unmistakably feminine shapes come in an assortment of Lilly Pulitzer's signature colors, and are constructed with European spring hinges and custom Italian laminates. Temples are adorned with limited edition prints, laser-etched patterns, and Lilly Pulitzer logos.
The updated collection is designed for two customer segments: the brand-loyal Lilly Lover who is always thrilled to discover a new way to add Lilly Pulitzer to her life, and the color craver who seeks fun shapes bursting with color and excitement.
"Lilly Pulitzer is a lifestyle brand that is collected and adored by generations," says Amy Moore, product director at the Kenmark Group. "Working handson with Lilly Pulitzer's prints and signature color palette has allowed us to design a collection of frames for Lilly lovers and color cravers that are fun, colorful, and feminine."
Each ladies' ophthalmic frame comes with a clamshell case featuring a limited edition Lilly Pulitzer print. The girls' ophthalmic frames come with a purse case adorned with a limited edition Lilly Pulitzer print. The sunwear comes with a soft pink zippered case embossed with a Lilly Pulitzer logo. All frames feature a three-year warranty.

Lindberg model 2151 is part of the Lindberg Spirit, a rimless line with visible temples. Aesthetics are often regarded as contrary to functionality; however, the Spirit collection uniquely exemplifies a fusion of form and function. The collection includes new temple designs in titanium and combinations of acetate and titanium. Spirit's timeless style radiates discreet refinement and the frames are executed with new temples that have been matched with a number of sophisticated and modern lens shapes.

6. GREEN OPTIONS
Design meets sustainability in the Modo Fall/Winter 2010 Collection, which features the introduction of recycled materials for the first time in a Modo collection.
Modo Recycled eyewear incorporates environmental responsibility into its collection, while matching it with the design inspiration. Frames are made with a minimum 95 percent content of recycled materials.
In addition, through its One Frame One Tree project, Modo will plant a tree for every frame sold. Modo also created a system by which consumers can donate their unwanted frames to charities.
Modo Recycled frames feature a flexible, threedimensional temple that provides optimal comfort in matte-finish, metal colors including ruby, mahogany, violet, and olive. The collection includes one men's style, one women's style, and two unisex styles in full-rim and semi-rimless designs.

Safilo's latest project, "Frames of Life," is inspired by the Giorgio Armani eyewear collections of the 1980s. These are more than just reproductions of original models. The collection of eyewear maintains a strong identity linked to how it is manufactured; and now, in a modern way, the firm has rediscovered its roots. A new edition of the classic, round optical frames, pure oval style GA 789, is strongly inspired by the 1920s. Temples are characterized by a light tubular plastic decorative trim and a piston hinge. They are available in shades of black/ruthenium, glossy brown/brown, and Havana/matte silver.
