Tracy Moody has been promoted from chief operating officer to president and chief growth officer of Vision Source. In addition, the company has welcomed Doug Rice as chief financial officer. Tracy Moody, Vision Source Hugh McManus has joined Super Systems as its newest marketing coordinator. New York Eye has promoted Shannon Johnson to the newly created position of senior vice president of operations. In her new role, Johnson will continue to head the company's product support department as well as handle MIS, company banking, and finance. Shannon Johnson, New York Eye CooperVision has expanded its Asia Pacific leadership team with the appointments of Ed Northup as president, Asia Pacific Region, and Willin Jin as general manager of CooperVision China. Guy Whittaker, in addition to his role as vice president of marketing, Asia Pacific Region, now holds responsibility as general manager of Singapore, Malaysia, India, Hong Kong, and Taiwan. Phil Keefer has announced his retirement as president of The Vision Care Institute, effective Sept. 1, 2012. Throughout his 23-year career with Johnson & Johnson Vision Care, Keefer has served as executive vice president sales, marketing, professional affairs and strategic planning; vice president, new business development; managing director/president of multiple regions, including Asia Pacific, the Americas, Latin America, and Japan; and as an active member of the Global Management Board. Shamir Insight has announced the winners of its Autograph II Transitions XTRActive promotion, which ran from Oct. 1 to Dec. 31, 2011. The grand-prize winner, North Wake Eye Care of Rolesville, N.C., received two Apple iPads, two iMac computers, an Apple TV, and a $500 Visa gift card. Two runners up, Christenson Vision Care in Hudson, Wis., and North Wake Eye Care in Rolesville, N.C., won $500 Visa gift cards. Shamir also awarded 10 practices with $250 Visa gift cards and 20 others with $50 Visa gift cards.
