CLEARVISION PRESENTS DILLI DALLI
Dilli Dalli eyewear for infants and toddlers from ClearVision offers durability, comfort, and adorable style. The initial collection consists of six frames available in a variety of frame sizes for children three months to three years old (eye sizes 35mm to 44mm). Four unisex, one boys', and one girls' style feature a fresh new color palette and designs such as camo and motifs in modern shapes and current looks.
A variety of soft- to mid-tone colors flatter young faces, and the frame styles' names were inspired by the nicknames parents call their babies and toddlers, including model names Munchkin, Lil Bean, Sprout, Half Pint, Hot Shot, and Buttercup.
Keeping in mind that eyewear for the youngest users is generally driven by medical needs, the eyewear is designed with details for comfort and fitting such as nosepads made from medical-grade hypo-allergenic PVC material with curved edges for added comfort, notes brand manager Pam Elfreich. Bridge and nosepads are also placed lower so eyes are better centered for appearance and performance.
In terms of fitting and wear for comfort and durability, the collection's styles have Intelliflex hinges with multidirectional flexibility and unifit bridges are offered on select styles, while cable and skull temple options are available on all frames. Also, temples have a slight bow to fit on the natural curve of young heads and are interchangeable among select styles.

BRAND MANAGEMENT |
---|
Brand manager Pam Elfreich has a personal interest in Dilli Dalli as the parent of a special needs child. Using her real-life experience in the development of the brand, she helped ensure the collection had the features and benefits that really matter to parents and children alike. “This project has been near and dear to me. It's been a personal investment in the process to put out a good product,” Elfreich says, adding that in the development of the product she worked with a variety of dispensers who also feel strongly about quality kids' eyewear. “A lot of dispensers are in it for personal reasons as well.” The logo was designed to appeal to both ECPs and consumers, created in a color family that is cool and technical, while remaining young in spirit. Other presentation materials include custom logo clings, frame cards, and cases. A custom sales tray presentation system, good for display or easy storage, is available in multiple colors. Other materials include a custom-designed, printed catalog and countercard. Elfreich notes that this collection finishes out the ClearVision kids' lineup: Dilli Dalli for ages three months to three years, Izod and Jessica McClintock for kids, and Op and Junction City for tweens. |
First Class
“Luxury, femininity, sophistication” are the identifying features of Chopard's 2012 sunglass collection, produced and distributed by De Rigo. The refined design of the glasses reflects the jewelry creations of the Swiss design house, De Rigo representatives note.
The collection draws inspiration from the details of the Imperiale watch collection: a feminine, refined, modern, and timeless grouping in which elegance is conveyed by the combination of simplicity and exclusivity. Shiny metal frames are created in traditional gunmetal, palladium, bronze, rose gold, and gold. Acetate models feature colors with a marbled effect and shaded pastel hues.
The men's models are inspired by the collaboration between Chopard and the “Mille Miglia” rally. Rubber tire details characterize double bridges and temples. Most models are in metal with two limited-edition styles in titanium with 24k gold plated lenses.

hinging on spring
Morel's ÖGA brand introduces a new collection, Tüb, a rounded tubular design concept featuring a dual-action, integrated spring hinge. The stainless steel hinge mechanism combines delicacy with long-term reliability. Stamped, tubular, stainless steel endpieces meet with temples to create an oblong shape at the temple joint. For an extra splash of style, a hint of colored lacquer is added to the endpiece and the temple. Tüb is available in a wide range of sizes from 52 to 57. Two models, 7016Ö and 7018Ö, are available in additional sizes, 54 and 56, to fit many face shapes and sizes. All shapes are progressive-lens friendly, company reps note, adding that easy cold adjustment of endtips and endpiece opening angle is possible.
