Safilo’s Carrera and Jimmy Choo have stepped out with a capsule collection of Carrera by Jimmy Choo sunglasses for men, following the success of the Carrera by Jimmy Choo Women’s capsule collection of sunglasses launched last year. This marks Jimmy Choo’s first foray into the men’s eyewear category, expanding on its existing men’s shoes, bags, and small leather goods.
The collection will blend a range of Carrera models with Jimmy Choo Men’s collection signature touches.

Vivid is adding a new material to its product offerings, Ultem. The light, comfortable material will be used in the full frames of styles within the 2000 Collection; and will be included in temple designs within other collections.
Ultem, referred to as a “famously overachieving thermoplastic,” is able to sustain high temperatures, is lighter than titanium, and is flexible, hypo-allergenic, and non-corrosive, company representatives note. Currently available in four styles, the colors are selected from a bold and fun palette.
