YOUNG ACHIEVERS
Oakley Brings Quarter Jacket Youth Sunglass Out to Play
At last, kids can be kids when it comes to Oakley. Long a favorite for younger players, athletes with small faces had to wait on deck until they were big enough to fit in adult sizes.
With the Quarter Jacket, launching this month, the play is focused on youth-sized faces. The O Matter frames have interchangeable lenses to optimize performance in any environment and Unobtainium earsocks and nose pads increase grip with perspiration. Lenses feature the optimized peripheral vision and side protection of a 8.75 base curve and a Plutonite lens that filters out 100 percent of UVA/UVB /UVC and harmful blue light up to 400nm. A smaller frame size with zero-pressure, three-point-fit is optimized for youth athletes, company representatives note.
Available in black, white, navy, and red, the frame offers wearers durability and all-day comfort.
Unobtainium earsocks help keep young athletes’ eyewear comfortably in place

Declan Lonergan, Oakley Eyewear brand manager, notes: “Thirty years of history, experience, loyalty and support from the world’s top athletes have led us to creating products for the next generation of Oakley athletes with the introduction of Quarter Jacket. “We want kids to be able to wear what the pros and their heroes are wearing, and do so knowing that they are wearing a product with protection to help them perform at their very best.”
