Four For Fall
The best of eyewear takes style a step further this season
BY AMY SPIEZIO
01 GLASSES IN GLASSES.
The ultimate in layering, the glasses-in-glasses trend mixes metals and plastics, metals and woods, and even acetates with other laminations to make a chunky look more wearable and streamlined.
The new Blake Kuwahara collection pushes design and technology boundaries by putting acetate frame in acetate frame for crystal-covered modern looks with texture and dimension. Shown here, style Ando.
02 BEYOND BASIC BROW BARS.
The traditional brow bar is taken to an entirely new level this year with arches in metal and acetate that match or contrast, all the while adding an avant garde splash to what used to be a very staid look.
03 MERRY GO ROUND.
The round trend continues to encircle the leading design looks, with different takes on proportion and materials that give these frames and sunglasses more wearability without sacrificing their edginess.
04 GREENER PASTURES.
Greens and blues continue to brighten up eyewear with shades reminiscent of land and sea, often with color accents that provide a touch of elegance to light-hearted hues.
