Who doesn’t like a little change now and then? Silhouette’s adidas collection is tapping into this frame of mind with its new convertor models. The convertor is cutting-edge eyewear technology that meets sporty design. As with all the other models in the adidas eyewear collection, the new convertor models are designed and manufactured by the eyewear producer Silhouette International in Austria.

Allowing wearers to express their creative side, the styles are single frames with a variety of wearing options. The convertor blades on the temples feature a discreet single color on one side, contrasting with a bright and striking hue on the other. They can be rotated on the same temple and clicked into place again or switched to the opposite temple. The convertor blades also have a narrow side and a wide side, opening up a choice of four different looks.

In addition, the new eyewear grouping meets many fitting needs—both the frames and temples of the ophthalmic full-rim Artform models are made from extremely light, highly durable, and hypo-allergenic SPX material, to create eyewear that is flexible and at the same time shatterproof. The SPX temples and a Performance Steel inlay allow opticians to adapt the temples to suit the shape of the wearer’s head. Adjustable nose pads also ensure a personalized and comfortable fit. The flexible temple ends keep the eyewear perfectly positioned at all times without slipping, company representatives note.

Montblanc Celebrates 90 Years with Limited Edition Eyewear

to celebrate the 90th anniversary of the legendary Meisterstück, Montblanc’s iconic fountain pen, the company has also created a two-piece limited edition eyewear collection from Marcolin.

The timeless elegance and sophistication of the Meisterstück, present in the 90th Anniversary Collections of watches, jewelry, writing instruments, and leather, is also highlighted in the two eyewear models. The frames pay homage to the finest craftsmanship for which the company is well known, and they showcase a high level of eyewear manufacturing standards.

Both the eyeglass and the sunglass models take inspiration from the characteristics that have made the Meisterstück writing instrument a luxury icon.

The eyeglasses have a sleek design and rounded contours with polished finishings. The plated rose gold frame features the iconic motif and signature engravings for a streamlined silhouette. The geometric profiles and the three-rings motif on the temples reveal an understated elegance also inspired by the stylistic tradition of the Meisterstück pen.

The aviator sunglasses feature gold-plated frames with gray, polarized lenses that feature a high level of detail work.

The Montblanc emblem, which is a stylized symbol of the highest peak in Europe, is featured on the temples. It utilizes technical design features and is crafted with the use of the latest industry manufacturing techniques.
