ETRO from Marchon unveils its latest eyewear models, highlighting the brand’s iconic paisley motif and Italian workmanship.
Standout features for women’s sun styles (ET643S, ET108S, ET635S, and ET646S) include new graphics with pops of color. Pictured is model ET646S, offering the brand’s paisley pattern in a color palette fit for the summer season (available in Blue Paisley, Red Paisley, Orange Paisley, and Black Paisley). Optical style ET2113 also incorporates a stylish paisley motif in a feminine teacup shape.
Two new sun styles (ET649S and ET641S) are offered for men—one of them, model ET649, was featured in the ETRO men’s fashion show, and features a geometric design and a matte finish.

New to the Wiley X Youth Force Line is WX Crush, an Rx-ready sports frame for children ages 6 to 13+. The WX Crush features an eye size of 52, a bridge size of 18, and a temple measurement of 130, making it a solid fit for boys and girls with medium head sizes.

ic! berlin has announced its distribution of BAARS eyewear in the U.S., featuring 14 optical styles and 14 sunglass styles. Manufactured and assembled in Oyonnax, France, BAARS offers a patented magnetic hinge, allowing for easy removal of the temples and created to resist potential ruptures/daily hardships to the frames.
After launching in May 2015 (from the collaboration of the creative passions of two friends: a designer/electronic music artist from Paris, and an optician from Annecy, France), BAARS scored a nomination in the innovation category for the Silmo d’or in September of the same year. Frame components include Mazzucchelli acetate, Dalloz lenses, and Visottica hinges, all assembled at Lucal in France.

ELASTA EVOLUTION
Following customers’ requests, Safilo reintroduces the Elasta ophthalmic brand this spring—its flagship collection regarded for its five decades of dedication to opticians.
Designed in the U.S. and made in Italy, the collection offers 20 modern styles for men ages 40 and up who desire fine craftsmanship without a designer name. According to Safilo, the collection can best be described as “modern but not trendy, functional with attention to detail, and strong and durable for a perfect fit.”
The collection’s standout frame features include updates on Elasta’s iconic hinge—originally introduced in 1967—including a “Forte” version that compresses when open and expands when closed for elasticity and resistance.
“The Elasta spring hinge introduced innovation to the eyewear industry in 1967 and is widely acclaimed for being one of Safilo’s greatest inventions,” states Henri Blomqvist, CEO of Safilo North America. “The hinge has been perfected and improved during the past 50 years to reach today’s evolution offered again in the Elasta collection.”
