ARBITERS OF STYLE
New York Eye unveils the Marie Claire Eyewear Collection, a collection of modern, sophisticated styles for women. The collection is designed in collaboration with style experts at Marie Claire magazine—a publication founded in 1937 that now boasts 34 international editions and a reach of more than 40 million readers worldwide. The women’s magazine urges its readers to “make intelligence a part of their wardrobes.”
The Marie Claire Eyewear Collection frame materials include acetate and stainless steel, crafted into chic silhouettes with bold colors. Some frames feature unique boutique laminate colorations, as well as delicate stainless steel silhouettes.
Standout styles include model 6202, shown here, which offers a thin rectangular shape with celestial colors and stones. Pictured in color Teal Mix, the style is also available in Lavender Mix.
Each frame comes with a branded hard metal case and microfiber cleaning cloth. Suggested retail pricing ranges from $150 to $245.

HISTORY OF INNOVATION
Rodenstock Launches Frame Sales Subsidiary in the U.S.
The German company Rodenstock boasts more than 140 years of optical innovation, and the global eyewear and lens manufacturer recently announced its launch in the U.S. via its own frame sales subsidiary—Rodenstock USA, LLC, based in Sheridan, WY.
Because active sales territory rollout will take time, in the interim independent optical establishments nationwide can apply for access to Rodenstock-Direct, a full-service platform that allows eyecare professionals to manage all aspects of their account relationship with Rodenstock without the assistance of a sales representative.
Pictured here is model R7052 (top), a high-tech modern design that subtly pays tribute to the iconic titanium classic R4792 (bottom).
Aiming to provide excellent value through superior quality and design with optimal materials, Rodenstock offers frames within a suggested retail price range of $150-$245.
