Making Contact
Contact lenses are hot. Just ask Warby Parker, which shook up the category by launching Scout, its own daily disposable contact lens ($55 per eye for a 90-day supply), late last year.
According to the exclusive Eyecare Business Contact Lens Focus Group Study, eyecare professional respondents credit an average of 41% of their business to contacts. That’s up from 35% in 2018. And, 69% say they’ve experienced an upward trend in overall sales of contacts during the past year.
A closer look at key highlights from EB’s research findings reveals solid sales and new opportunities in this flourishing market.
