ic! berlin, known for its revolutionary screwless hinge, is celebrating 25 years of high-quality craftsmanship and handmade frames manufactured in Berlin with the release of an anniversary collection of six new screwless optical styles in stainless steel.

All frames in the 25th Anniversary Collection feature an exclusive “25” logo engravement on the inside of the temples. The assortment also features BlueProtect lenses from Zeiss.

The ic! berlin Ivan B. and Vitan V. (pictured) showcase the brand’s versatile silhouettes offered in Boulder blue, gunmetal, teak, and more.

The Nine West optical/sun collection from Marchon Eyewear unveils a new extended-fit collection, offering styles in signature colors and chic silhouettes in sizes ranging from 55 to 58.

Charmant Group and Elle have extended their collaboration for Elle-branded eyewear for an additional five years. The license renewal coincides with the companies’ celebration of 25 years of partnership.

EssilorLuxottica and Tory Burch announced the renewal of the exclusive license agreement for the development, production, and worldwide distribution of sunglasses and prescription frames under the Tory Burch brand, scheduled to expire on Dec. 31, 2030.

Etnia Barcelona has acquired Catalan eyewear brand Lool Eyewear.

◄ Kering Eyewear and the Lindberg family have signed an agreement for Kering to acquire the family-owned Danish eyewear brand.

Marcolin and Guess announced the early renewal of their exclusive licensing agreement for the design, production, and worldwide distribution of Guess and Marciano sunglasses and eyeglasses, extended until 2030.

Safilo and Carolina Herrera announced a five-year global licensing agreement for the design, manufacture, and distribution of Carolina Herrera-branded eyewear, starting Jan. 1, 2022.

Thélios and Fendi have announced the exclusive partnership for the design, development, production, and distribution of the fashion house’s eyewear segment.

Tribute to Women

The De Rigo Group has introduced Yalea, an all-new house brand designed and produced with today’s women in mind.

Yalea, available in the U.S. from De Rigo REM, is designed to celebrate women of all backgrounds—offering optical and sun styles with elegant design details in a signature color palette including nude tones and pops of coral. All styles are named after inspirational women throughout history, from Ruth Bader Ginsburg to Naomi Osaka.

Silhouette Eyewear unveils new styles in its award-winning Identity collection, a rimless optical assortment inspired by the clean, geometric silhouettes found in modern architecture.

Frames in the Identity collection feature easily adjustable temples, which introduce the brand’s innovative new disc hinge while fusing high-tech titanium on the top and SPX+ on the temple ends. Earthy colorways like lavender springs, rhodium, and gold add a rich pop of color to the collection.
