For the Cause
Morel is joining forces with the (RED) organization to help raise awareness and funds to fight pandemics, including Covid-19.
(RED) launched in 2006 to support lifesaving programs in response to the AIDS pandemic, and, since its inception, it has generated nearly $700 million for the Global Fund.
The (Morel)RED collection features ophthalmic styles—including the (Morel)RED Gabi style, pictured—and sunglasses all offered in a red design (with additional color options available).
For each (Morel)RED frame purchased, the eyewear brand will donate $5 to the Global Fund, with a minimum guaranteed donation of $100,000.
All (Morel)RED styles are packaged in a display box with a message from Morel regarding the impact of this collection, also found on the pouch that accompanies each frame.
To hear more about this launch, head to EB’s Facebook Live with Morel during Vision Expo East 2022.

30 Years of Success
Flashback to 1992: Calvin Klein and Marchon Eyewear first became licensing partners, and the idea of a fashion brand licensing its name for eyewear was a novel concept.
To celebrate three decades of this successful partnership, Marchon releases a capsule collection of five ophthalmic and four sunglass styles that are reminiscent of the brand’s iconic eyewear styles launched in the ’90s.
“The dedicated anniversary eyewear collection pays tribute to our history while feeling entirely relevant for the modern consumer,” says Trish Donnelly, CEO, PVH Americas and Calvin Klein Global.
All styles in the capsule collection offer gender-neutral shapes and are made in Japan, crafted exclusively from titanium. Here, the Calvin Klein CK22108T and CK22110TS illustrate the collection’s sleek, streamlined appeal.
