Teen retailer Aéropostale has teamed up with A&A Optical to launch eyewear with a fresh mix of shapes and styles for Gen Z and young adult consumers.
Described as “bold, colorful, and unapologetically unique,” the assortment emboldens wearers to challenge the status quo with eccentric silhouettes in quality materials.
“This collection was created for all of Gen Z as a way to express themselves and their identities through eyewear,” says Walter Roth, A&A Optical product development manager.

Thrill Seekers
Tura introduces eyewear from O’Neill, a 70-year-old brand celebrated for its California roots and sport-influenced style specializing in surf wear, snow wear, swimwear, and lifestyle.
O’Neill eyewear from Tura launches with 23 models across three themes: Ocean, defined by aquatic hues and fluid silhouettes; Mountain, offering earthy tones and wood inlays/textures (such as the O’Neill style Keone, pictured); and Sport, highlighted by vibrant colors and performance details.
Tura will be the exclusive provider of O’Neill eyewear throughout the North American independent eyecare market, and Inspecs Group will continue to service the O’Neill eyewear line to large and midsize optical groups throughout North and South America.

FRESH CUTS
Bajío, manufacturer of high-end performance fishing and lifestyle sunglasses, has partnered with Fly Fish Europe, a fly-fishing distributor. Bajío will work to provide European fly fishermen with a selection of Bajío frames to offer the brand’s LAPIS lens technology to a larger number of consumers.
Marchon Eyewear Inc. and eponymous fashion brand Karl Lagerfeld announced a multiyear renewal of their global eyewear licensing agreement. Vision Expo Booth: P18065
◄ Mondottica USA and surf, snowboard, and fitness lifestyle brand Roxy announced a multiyear license agreement for Mondottica’s design, production, and distribution of Roxy prescription frames and prescription sunglasses for the optical channel in the U.S., Latin America, and the Caribbean.

Sustainable Style
Under Armour eyewear, available from Safilo, unveils its first sustainably focused eyewear collection, featuring optical and sunglass styles constructed from Eastman Tritan Renew, a performance copolyester made of 50% certified recycled content.
The launch collection features Tritan Renew fronts and temples, rubber nonslip nose pads, auto-lock stop hinges, and silicone nonslip tips on five of the six styles.

Costa’s Lido sunglasses, from EssilorLuxottica, are designed for water sports with top/side shields to prevent light leakage and Hydrolite nose pads and temple tips for anti-fog and grip.
The Costa Lido frame is constructed in lightweight, plant-based Bio-Resin for durable, eco-friendly appeal and is available with Costa’s color-enhancing, polarized glass, and polycarbonate lenses.
