ESCHENBACH OPTIK OF AMERICA INC.
Asensys
Eschenbach Optik of America Inc. has launched its Asensys filters, a line of contrast-enhancing eyewear.
Designed to provide all-around protection against the sun, Asensys filters can be worn alone or over a patient’s prescription glasses and are prescription correctable, Eschenbach shares. The filters are available as polarized or nonpolarized in four different tints—yellow, orange, dark orange, and red—with cutoff transmissions of 450 nanometers (nm), 511 nm, 527 nm, and 550 nm, according to the company.
Crafted from lightweight CR-39 optical quality material, the lenses are distortion-free, Eschenbach shares, and provide 100% UV protection while blocking up to 100% of blue light, depending on the tint. The eyewear comes in two frame sizes designed to provide top-shield coverage above the eyes with side shields on the temples. According to the company, this allows for maximum protection from glare coming from different angles.
