In the wake of COVID-19, Smith, a performance brand from Safilo Group, is supporting personal protective equipment (PPE) shortages across the U.S. by joining the Goggles for Docs movement. 

Goggles for Docs is based solely on volunteer support and product donation to provide ski goggles to health care workers who currently have no eyewear protection while treating patients.

Smith is currently sending new and used goggles to fulfill hospital requests, and encourages its community to volunteer and donate on the individual level. 

Goggles for Docs is also hosting a virtual, livestreamed Après Ski Music Series. Listeners can tune in and donate goggles or monetary contributions which will be used to directly purchase additional protective gear for medical staff.
