July 21, 2021 — The Contact Lens Institute (CLI) recently launched its See Tomorrow campaign, designed to reveal insights on patients’ changing mindsets surrounding vision (including proper contact lens wear), health care, and more over the course of the Covid-19 pandemic, and how the eyecare community can successfully react and respond.
To coincide with the campaign, 40 leading optometrists have been named as See Tomorrow Visionaries. The O.D.s will serve as ambassadors for the program to help inspire peers and inform consumers about the initiative.
“The See Tomorrow Visionaries have grown their clinical and research practices by consistently finding ways to deepen their relationships with patients, including considering their overall lifestyles as part of their clinical assessment and prescribing. In doing so, they have built trust while improving patient satisfaction, by discussing and prescribing the latest advances in contact lenses," says Rick Weisbarth, O.D., FAAO, chair of CLI's communications committee. “The combination of their broad experiences, keen insights, as well as the eye-opening new CLI consumer research—which will be shared in our digital launch event on July 22—will move optometry forward as we emerge from the pandemic."
