Dec. 15, 2021 — Registration has opened for Vision Expo East 2022, scheduled for March 31 to April 3 at the Javits Center in New York City. Show organizers The Vision Council and RX announced the upcoming trade show experience will feature a new “neighborhood” show floor destination, a lineup of special events, and versatile eyecare education opportunities spanning more than 230 hours, plus the return of the OptiCon@Vision Expo program and hub.
Vision Expo East’s educational programs (developed by the Education Planning Committee together with OptiCon@Vision Expo) will open on Thursday, March 31, and the trade show’s exhibit hall will open on Friday, April 1.
Show organizers share that the VisionSAFE guidelines, Vision Expo’s health and safety guidelines launched amid Covid-19, have been updated—and will continue to be updated—in accordance with New York state and NYC public health requirements as well as the guidelines set in place by the Javits Center, including vaccine requirements, mask coverings, and more.
“We are thrilled to welcome attendees back to New York City for Vision Expo East,” says Fran Pennella, vice president, Vision Expo, at RX. “From a new show floor neighborhood and a dynamic education program to a vibrant lineup of special events, this year’s show experience offers attendees various avenues to connect, learn, celebrate, and grow.”
The new show floor neighborhood, called The Atelier, will host a curated selection of independent industry designers from around the world. It will feature welcome concierge, an exclusive lounge, canapé food service and beverages, and live music. Exhibitors in The Atelier include Emmanuelle Khanh, Linda Farrow, T Henri, Tom Davies, l.a.Eyeworks, and Thierry Lasry.
The Bridge main stage destination will return with special events, panels, and presentations. For more information on all show floor neighborhoods, click here.
