Aug. 24, 2023 — Prevent Blindness has announced a new fundraising event, the first annual Westchester Golf Classic, to support both the National Council for the Blind of Ireland and Prevent Blindness. The inaugural event will take place at the Westchester Country Club in Rye, NY, on Oct. 2.
 
Beyond playing 18 holes on the PGA Championship course, attendees are invited to enjoy brunch, cocktails, dinner, and the chance to bid on items including tickets with backstage passes to a U2 concert at The Sphere in Las Vegas and a trip to play on a world championship golf course in Ireland.
