VisionEd offers 300 hours of content spanning approximately 200 sessions, offering knowledge from every mode of optometric care designed for seamless implementation into practice—from business to social media strategies, the latest in contact lenses, and more.
Vision Expo education planning chair Marc Bloomenstein, O.D., FAAO, shares new features of the optometric education program, dynamic and designed-for-fun courses like “Ask the Experts” and “Two Truths and a Lie,” where cases will be discussed by experts who will offer their clinical expertise.
Developed by Melissa Barnett, O.D., the complimentary Global Contact Lens Forum will offer practical, timely tips in both clinical and business processes to help ECPs elevate their specialty contact lens practices.
Comprising more than 100 courses, OptiCon will cover trends and developments in the professions across five tracks: clinical concepts, spectacle lens, contact lens, allied health, and business. The OptiCon education package includes unlimited continuing education courses, free exhibit hall access, tailored special events for networking, access to American Board of Opticianry and National Contact Lens Examiners Board exam review courses, and more. Open to all attendees, the OpitCon General Session will be presented on Friday, March 15, at 12:30 p.m. at The Bridge, by award-winning author, psychotherapist, and extreme athlete Rebecca Alexander, LCSW-R, MPH, who will share her struggles and accomplishments living with Usher syndrome type 3.
