July 25, 2024 — ClearVision Optical and the Optical Women's Association (OWA) have announced the second round of the ClearVision-Adira Grant Program, established to support the professional and personal development of women in the optical industry. Submissions are being accepted through the end of August.
The program is named after ClearVision’s Adira eyewear collection, designed with the mission of empowering women throughout every stage of their lives.
Danielle D. Crull, owner and master optician at A Child's Eyes, and Michelle Kelley, director of ophthalmic services and materials at Southern College of Optometry, received the program’s first round of grants. The second round will award three grants of $2,000 each to deserving OWA members.
OWA members can submit personalized essays on how the grant will assist them in achieving their goals or overcoming challenges. A panel from OWA and ClearVision will select finalists, and OWA members will vote on the winners. All essays will be anonymized to ensure fairness.
More information and the submission form can be found here.
