Aug. 15, 2024 — Nominations are open for the second annual Contact Lens Institute (CLI) Culture Awards, now through Tuesday, Oct. 1. The awards recognize eyecare professionals in the U.S. and Canada who contribute to a positive culture around contact lens use, as highlighted in CLI’s See Tomorrow research.
Eligible nominees include those who prescribe or support soft contact lenses. Self-nominations are accepted. More details on how to apply can be found here.
“The inaugural honorees brought our See Tomorrow findings to life, demonstrating how intentional behaviors from everyone in a practice affect patients’ decisions to consider and continue wearing contact lenses,” says CLI executive director Stan Rogaski. “We are looking forward to discovering and celebrating another group of professionals who…inspire their patients, their teams, and the entire industry to enjoy all that contact lenses offer for vision, lifestyle, and more.”
Nominations require a brief submission (750 words or less) addressing questions related to patient outcomes, initiatives for promoting contact lenses, staff engagement, or notable patient interactions involving contact lenses. Including references to positive behaviors from the See Tomorrow reports is encouraged.
Submissions must include the nominee's name, location, practice details, and the nominator's contact information. Group nominations are allowed if all individuals are named and a leader is designated. Entries should be emailed to cli@contactlensinstitute.org by 11:59 p.m. ET on Tuesday, Oct. 1. Honorees will be selected by the CLI Board of Directors and announced in November.
