Sept. 5, 2024 — The Optical Women’s Association (OWA) has established an international expansion committee to extend its reach and impact beyond the U.S. The OWA will continue to operate as a U.S.-based organization with the mission to empower, educate, and support women in the optical industry across different cultures and continents.

As part of its international efforts, the OWA will host the OWA Global Connection Event at Silmo Paris on Friday, Sept. 20, from 4-5 p.m. at the Silmo Talks stage. The event will include a presentation on the OWA’s benefits, activities, and international expansion plans, along with opportunities for networking. Space is limited, and advance registration is required here by Sept. 10.
