The gathering brought together independent optometrists, optical staff, vendors, IDOC experts, and industry leaders for a series of educational sessions, hands-on training, and networking opportunities.
A major highlight of the event was IDOC's Roundtables, which provided an opportunity for participants to engage in collaborative discussions about best practices and problem-solving. These sessions fostered meaningful exchanges and lasting connections among attendees.
Keynote speakers included Eric Termuende, who opened the event with a presentation on "The Future of Work," followed by Sharon Carter and Lynn Lawrence, ABOC, on "How to Implement Organizational Change," offering strategies for evolving businesses.
More than 60 vendor sponsors showcased the latest products and technologies at the Sponsor Marketplace, offering attendees the chance to explore new solutions for their practices. Four IDOC members were recognized for their contributions to the industry: Beth Seidman, OD; Juawana Hall, OD; Mariah Smith, OD; and Todd Cohan, OD, who shared their stories of building successful practices and overcoming challenges.
The two-day Quantum Optical Pinnacle Program provided in-depth training for optical staff, covering topics such as Rx analysis, refractive errors, lenses, and frame types. This program aimed to improve patient satisfaction, reduce remakes, and increase sales.
Networking opportunities throughout the event included the Ignite the Night celebration and a karaoke session, allowing attendees to relax and connect in a more informal setting.
