
The New England College of Optometry (NECO) will host its 2025 Industry Collaborative Nov. 3-4 in Boston, bringing together educators, students, clinicians, policy leaders, and industry partners to discuss the future of optometry.
The event theme, “Reimagining Optometry: Equipping Graduates for a New Era of Care,” will guide sessions focused on balancing technology with patient-centered care, student wellness, and the evolving role of foundational science in optometry education.
The program opens with a networking dinner on Nov. 3 at NECO’s Boston campus, followed by a full day of panels and discussions on Nov. 4 at WBUR CitySpace. Agenda highlights include:

Optometry’s Role in Systemic Health: The opening session will explore integrating optometry into public and population health.

The collaborative is designed to connect stakeholders across education, practice, and industry while exploring how innovation and policy can shape patient outcomes and professional training.
