Feb. 7, 2025 — The recipients of the 2024 Transitions Innovation Awards were announced at a ceremony on Tuesday, Feb. 4, during Transitions Academy, which took place Feb. 2-5 at the JW Marriott Grande Lakes in Orlando, FL.

The awards are divided into four categories: Transitions Healthy Sight Ambassador, Eyecare Practice of the Year, Retailer of the Year, and Channel Partner of the Year. For a full list of finalists, click here.

2024 #EBGameChanger Ric Peralta, ABOC, consultant and senior optician/lab manager at Focal Point Optometry in Fullerton, CA, was honored as the Transitions Healthy Sight Ambassador for the second year in a row. The award highlights individuals who have demonstrated dedication to promoting eye health and Transitions’ values within their practices and communities.

Eye Specialists of Mid-Florida P.A., with locations across Florida, earned the Eyecare Practice of the Year, North America award, which recognizes independent practices with fewer than 20 locations in the U.S. or Canada for their commitment to Transitions’ values and enhancing customer vision.

Theodore & Pringle Optical was named Retailer of the Year, North America, award, which honors retailers with 20 or more locations that actively uphold Transitions’ values while prioritizing customer vision and community engagement.

Vision Source was honored as the Channel Partner of the Year, North America, which recognizes organizations such as optical laboratories and vision care companies and their efforts to promote healthy sight and support Transitions’ mission.
